Guest Service Attendant/Bellperson

The Bellperson is a key ambassador of Omni’s renowned service culture, creating exceptional first and last impressions for our guests. This role provides warm, attentive, and efficient assistance with luggage, transportation, and guest orientation while delivering genuine Southern hospitality throughout the guest experience.

Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure, offering luggage assistance as needed

Safely transport guest luggage to and from rooms, storage areas, and vehicles

Escort guests to rooms and provide an overview of resort amenities, services, and in-room features

Maintain knowledge of the resort layout, amenities, dining options, and local attractions

Assist with transportation coordination, including valet communication and shuttle support (if applicable)

Tag, store, and retrieve luggage accurately and securely

Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns with professionalism and urgency

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell stand, luggage storage, and entry areas

Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service

Uphold Omni brand standards and Forbes service expectations at all times

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Valid driver’s license may be required

Must be at least 21 years of age

Professional appearance and conduct in alignment with Omni standards

Team player with a positive, can-do mindset

Knowledge of Hilton Head Island area preferred
