The Houseperson assists various departments with a variety of tasks and provides guests with excellent customer service.

The Breakfast Attendant sets-up, maintains, and breaks down the breakfast buffet and assists the guests as needed to ensure that all foods are properly served while providing guests with excellent customer service.

Set-up buffet according to procedures and brand standards
Maintain buffet throughout the service period, restock buffet items as needed and have all food items and utensils out in a timely manner.

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

The expectations for a Rec Center Lifeguard and Swim Instructor are diverse and vital to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. During your shift, you will spend 30 minutes per hour on a shaded lifeguard stand while guarding. If you are swim instructing you will have no lessons longer than 30 minutes and are given a break after said session. When not on duty, you may assist with pool deck cleaning and other tasks to ensure the facility remains in top condition. Punctuality is essential, as our weekday hours range from 5:15 am to 8 pm. A Red Cross Lifeguard certification is required, but we offer certification opportunities if you're not yet certified. Uniforms and equipment will be provided at no cost.

Director of Engineering

Coordinate and operate, in an economical, legal and safe manner, all Air/Heating, Lighting, Power and Repair & Maintenance for the hotel.
Inspect physical resort and maintenance equipment, and shall supervise maintenance and preventative maintenance program of that area.
Coordinate with other departments all necessary repairs to maintain general conditions, safety and health standards set forth by hotel policy and legal requirements.
Interview, hire, train and counsel engineering associates to the Omni standards.
Directly supervises Engineering associates in operation and control of utilities to provide efficient operation of hotel services and comfort to guests.
Recommend to management possible projects for future capital budgets. Obtain bids, supervise and coordinate contractors in performance of project work.
Maintain own and hotel's specific permits and licenses as required by local authorities.
Control schedules, staffing and payroll of Engineering associates. Compile work logs, inspections of utilities in keeping updated Engineering records.

General Maintenance Technician

You will serve on a team whose job is to help the guests of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort enjoy a memorable stay at the Resort in a home or villa that is clean, safe, and exceeds expectations. You will contribute to the success of the Resort supporting the departments who ensure the cleanliness and quality of all the resort rental units. By supporting our company's Noble Purpose, your top priority will be to "care about our guests, and the impact you make on their lives."

This position is responsible for the overall working order of all the resort rental units within contractual guidelines as defined by the Director of Property Management. This position reports to the General Maintenance Manager.

-When interacting with each guest, leave them with a "WOW" story to tell about their experience
-Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management.
-Maintain all rental units in proper working order as defined by the Property Management Division.
-Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
-Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work
-Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment where applicable.
-Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
-Assist in gathering quotes from 3rd party vendors for renovations or repairs.
-Estimate repair costs.
-Perform repairs to rental property as needed during occupancy of units
-Scheduling with tenants to gain access for repair work as needed.
-Respond to emergency calls when directed by employer or office staff.
-Prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
-Complete daily work record forms and job assignment sheets

-Oversee special projects as requested and/or needed by the Property Management Division.
-Review items not covered under the maintenance program and bill for work that is done if 3rd party vendor not required.
-Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
-Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, etc.) to provide operable and efficient plumbing capabilities.
-Assists in performing scheduled and "as needed" inspection and preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain operability of the tools and equipment.
-Attend work unit staff meetings to obtain and disseminate information and participate in discussions on appropriate resolutions to problems.
-Replaces / Update or Repair (e.g. smoke alarms, cabinets, shelves, tile, light fixtures, filter systems, etc.) to provide a safe, comfortable environment

Requirements:
- Must have two years historical work experience in a maintenance related field. Resort environment or private home/villa repairs a plus.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks and meet appropriate deadlines.
-Must have some general IT knowledge.
-Communicate orally with team members, co-workers, employees, contractors and vendors to obtain and provide useful information.
-Work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes, indoors or outdoors to complete work assignments.
-Learn quickly and retain knowledge in order to acquire additional skills and maintain technical competencies.

Loyalty Ambassador

Develop relationships with Select Guests and serve as their point of contact for any hotel or program questions.
Create memorable experiences for our Select Guests during their stay.
Welcome Select Guests upon arrival and ensure all their requests and needs are met throughout their stay.
Resolve any concerns or issues with Select Guest, communicating any needs or special requests to fellow hotel departments.
Arrange Select Guest and special occasion amenities via In-Room Dining.
Conduct Loyalty Program training with other Front Office and hotel associates.
