INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

1.Work with members of the PTA Program, Director, other faculty members, and the PTA Advisory Committee to plan for new and existing programs and courses.
2.Assist in the development of the PTA curricula for students in the PTA Program.
3.Evaluate courses within the PTA Program.
4.Assist in the development and refinement of curricula of PTA courses.

TEACHING PERFORMANCE

1.Teach courses as assigned and in accordance with the established syllabi.

2.Provide high quality instruction for students in the PTA Program and in the Health Sciences Division using varied instructional delivery techniques.

3.Work with PTA faculty members to oversee Clinical Education components of the PTA curriculum.

4.Evaluate the accomplishments of students on a regular basis.

5.Participate in the Faculty Performance Management System.

6.Achieve at least 3.5 on student evaluations and satisfactory peer/supervisory evaluations.

STUDENT ADVISEMENT

1.Advise and maintain records of assigned student advisees in accordance with Division policies and procedures.

2.Provide effective academic advisement for students enrolled on the PTA Program.

3.Maintain office hours as required and needed by students, faculty and advisees.

4.Work with Student Services Division in the selection, recruitment, admission and retention of students and cooperate with this Division to utilize counseling services.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

1.Represent the Division and College by participating in community and professional activities.

2.Participate in professional continuing education opportunities and professional meetings.

3.Maintain a current awareness of educational innovations and trends appropriate to PTA education.

4.Maintain professional licensure as per the requirements of the State of South Carolina.

COLLEGE AND/OR COMMUNITY SERVICE

1.Assists PTA Program Director in activities related to compliance with Program specific accreditation criteria including the requirements of the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

2.Actively participate in activities to select, recruit, admit and retain students.

3.Maintain contacts with appropriate professional and community organizations/individuals in the College service area.

4.Serve actively on College committees.

5.Participate in Division meetings as assigned.

6.Participate in marketing activities for the PTA Program.

7.Work cooperatively with other Division faculty members and College departments to meet the educational needs of students.

INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

1.Maintain proper control and effective use of all physical facilities and supplies within the College.

2.Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input into planning/reporting system.

3.Insure communication of policies, procedures and campus information to all students.

4.Develop and administer student regulations within the Program and Division in a fair and equitable manner.

5.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Dean and Program Director.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

Required (bachelor's degree or Higher in Physical Therapy or Clinical Doctorate Degree preferred), three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in therapeutic, exercise, orthopedics or geriatrics with teaching experience in the classroom or clinical setting required. Must be a licensed PT or licensed eligible in South Carolina. Neurology background and ACCE experience is preferred.

Financial Aid Coordinator

1.Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program, including collaborating with on-campus departments and off-campus community partners to identify and develop eligible FWS positions; collecting and maintaining position descriptions and required agreements; posting and updating FWS job opportunities on institutional platforms; processing employment and eligibility documentation; coordinating with Human Resources and Payroll regarding hiring, contract updates, and employment changes; developing and delivering training materials, orientation presentations, and handbooks for supervisors and student employees; assigning and monitoring FWS award codes; reconciling and monitoring FWS budgets and expenditures; maintaining accurate records and audit-ready documentation; and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, and program deadlines.

2.Provides exceptional service and financial aid advising through accurate and clear delivery of information related to Federal Title IV student financial aid, state aid, and other forms of private student financial aid. Assists with completion of the FAFSA; gathers, interprets, reviews, and analyzes documentation for eligibility and requests additional documentation for incomplete or inconsistent applications to perform accurate needs analysis and verification of files. Performs packaging and awarding functions. Ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations applicable to the delivery of financial aid. Maintains files in compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines. Conducts financial aid and scholarship information sessions. Ensures all student/parent information is safe-guarded according to general FERPA regulations, institutional policies, and with extended restrictions of Financial Aid policies and procedures.

3. Administers and coordinates the awarding and processing of all miscellaneous third-party scholarships, internal TCL Foundation scholarships, and Veterans and Military educational benefits, including but not limited to Chapters 33, 31, 35. And MYCAA. Collaborates with the Business Office to ensure accurate receipt, posting, reconciliation, and disbursement of third-party scholarship funding; works closely with the TCL Foundation Office and Business Office to coordinate the awarding, processing, and tracking of institutional foundation scholarships; and partners with the Military & Veterans Office to certify enrollment, process VA educational benefits, and ensure compliance with applicable federal and institutional regulations. Reviews and adjusts state, federal, institutional, and other financial aid awards as necessary to prevent over-awards and maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, VA, and institutional policies and procedures, including adjustments related to students receiving South Carolina Senior Citizen Tuition Waivers and TCL Employee Tuition Waivers. Maintains accurate records, monitors student eligibility, resolves discrepancies, performs account reviews and reconciliations as needed, and provides guidance and support to students regarding scholarship programs, tuition waivers, and veterans educational benefits.

4)Manages the identification and review components of the Return to Title IV (R2T4) process, including generating and reviewing R2T4 reports; identifying students who require official or unofficial withdrawal calculations; monitoring enrollment activity and withdrawal status changes; coordinating the timely referral of student records for R2T4 processing; maintaining accurate tracking and documentation records; and collaborating with the designated R2T4 processor to review completed calculations for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations and institutional policies.

5)Assists with monitoring and the evaluation of student financial aid satisfactory academic progress (SAP). Assists with adjudication of student appeals relating to academic progress including, but not limited to, tracking student appeals, tracking of documents and updates to SAP eligibility and communication. Processes end of term functions, checking academic plan completion and cancellation of aid as needed.

6) Assists with creation and maintenance of Dynamic Forms and the Financial Aid Electronic Scheduler. Also ensures proper functioning and maintenance of US Department of Education software and Ellucian software. Assists the Director of Financial Aid with Ellucian software update testing, troubleshoots software issues, and works with Ellucian to submit and work support tickets for issues with communication management, packaging, and awarding.

7)Assists with the maintenance of the Financial Aid webpages to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Annually ensures Net Price Calculator and Shopping Sheet are updated. Assists in audits, program review, and reconciliation processes. Provides research assistance on financial aid regulations and provides recommendations regarding policy and compliance. Creates federal and state reports, as needed.

8)Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree and financial aid experience. Equivalencies may be considered.

Public Works - General Support Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

I.M.S.A. Level 2 Certification and Work Zone Safety Program Level 2 Traffic Signal Field Technician certification required. Must be highly proficient in the use of equipment necessary to perform tasks with the ability to supervise staff effectively and coordinate with multiple departments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Possession of a valid South Carolina Driver's License is required within 30 days of hire. Appointees to this class will be subject to mandatory testing for drugs prior to beginning work; once on the job, incumbents will be subject to mandatory testing for drugs and/or alcohol on a random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, return-to-duty, and follow-up basis. WORKING CONDITIONS

1.Maintain proper control and effective use of all physical facilities and supplies.
2.Prepare reports in cooperation with School of Health Sciences Dean for input into the planning/reporting system.
3.Develop and administer student regulations within the program and school in a fair and equitable manner.
4.Ensure communication of policies, procedures, and campus information to all students.
5.Perform additional duties, as assigned by the School of Health Sciences Dean.
6.Maintain standards applicable for program accreditation.
7.Review and approve purchase requests prior to submission to the dean.
8.Oversee Medical Laboratory Technology class schedule preparation.
9.Prepare budgets in cooperation with School of Health Sciences Dean.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Must possess an earned master's or doctoral degree and hold ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist. The program director must also have three years of teaching experience, along with knowledge of educational methods and administration, as well as current NAACLS accreditation procedures.

Motorcycle Safety Instructor

The Motorcycle Safety Instructor delivers high-quality, MSF-aligned training to new and experienced riders in both classroom (didactic) and on-cycle/range settings. This position supports rider safety and skill development for adult learners, with classes held on Friday evenings and weekend mornings on a military base. The Instructor must be able to access the base, maintain required certifications, and demonstrate strong communication, patience, and professionalism while teaching safe riding techniques, risk management, and defensive riding strategies. The role is physically active, requires sustained periods of walking/standing, and involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Duties:

Instruction & Facilitation

Teach didactic (in-classroom) content, including rider safety principles, traffic strategies, and risk awareness.

Lead on-cycle range exercises, demonstrations, and skill practice aligned with the MSF curriculum and state requirements.

Provide clear demonstrations of riding maneuvers and effective coaching feedback to learners of varying skill levels.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce range safety protocols, PPE standards, and risk mitigation procedures at all times.

Conduct pre-ride inspections and ensure the training environment, equipment, and motorcycles meet safety and operational standards.

Maintain current certification(s) and adhere to Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and South Carolina program guidelines.

Student Support & Assessment

Assess student performance on knowledge and riding skills; deliver constructive, timely feedback and documentation.

Exhibit patience and professionalism; adapt instruction to diverse learning styles while upholding standards and course outcomes.

Manage class attendance, testing, and pass/fail determinations in accordance with policy.

Administrative & Base Access Requirements

Arrive early to set up classroom/range; secure the site post-class

Complete course records, incident reports (if any), and timely submissions of required documentation.

Comply with military base entry requirements and protocols; maintain eligibility for base access.

Equipment & Environment

Safely move range equipment (cones, signage, stands) and position motorcycles as needed.

Work outdoors in hot, cold, and variable weather; ensure hydration and heat/cold safety practices for self and students.

Uphold a professional demeanor as a safety role model on and off the motorcycle.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

Valid motorcycle license (endorsement) with 1–3+ years of recent, active street-riding experience.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) RiderCoach Preparation Course (RCP)—successful completion required, or equivalent certification recognized by South Carolina.

Ability and commitment to maintain certification per MSF and South Carolina state guidelines.

Current CPR and First Aid certification from a recognized provider

Instruction & Training

No suspensions for moving violations in the past 3 years.
