Administrative Assistant

Essential Functions
USDA/CACFP Program Administration
•Work with operations administrator to ensure all aspects of CACFP monthly and annual reporting are completed.
•Responsible to ensure all teachers are trained for CACFP policies and procedures.

Front Desk and Administrative
•Serve as first point of contact for all parents, guest and vendors as requested.

•Answers incoming calls, providing information or transfer to serve needs of the caller as necessary.
•Assists parents in the completion of registration information, answering questions and processing necessary student paperwork as asked.
•Serve as responsible person for closing building on nightly basis.
•Maintains a high level of professionalism with staff, Trustees, volunteers and families.
•Maintains family and staff confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Volunteer Liaison
•Engage interested volunteers in the introduction, orientation and implementation process.
•Serves as primary contact for teacher and classroom volunteer while providing ongoing recognition and support.

Education/Child Care
•Provide classroom support as requested.
•Ensures the childcare environment is positive, loving and safe for all children.
•Always exemplifies conduct that promotes a positive impression of TCC, including in any on-line profile or communication.
•Maintain a system of communication and attitude of teamwork.

Facility Manager

Essential Functions
Building and Grounds
•Maintain building and grounds to exceed standard set by USDA, ABC, DHEC, DSS and all other regulatory agencies
•Maintain regular checks for necessary repairs and updates
•Maintain school grounds, walkways and areas adjacent to school facilities to be free of debris, identify hazardous situations and resolve concerns.
•Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of building does not deteriorate.
•Move and arrange furniture and equipment; prepare classrooms and other facilities for special events or meetings as assigned; set up and assemble chairs, tables, furniture and equipment; clean up furniture, equipment and debris following these events.
•Perform other cleaning duties as necessary between daily cleaning service visits.
•Follow manufacturer specifications in the use of all chemicals and power equipment.
•Ensure necessary and timely repairs as required.
•Schedule and oversee outside vendors doing maintenance on campus.
•Conduct weekly inventory and maintain records of supplies/equipment.
•Inspect buildings, reporting unsatisfactory or dangerous situations to the Executive Director, including but not limited to:
•Presence of animals, vermin or insects
•Need for cleaning supplies or equipment repair in advance
•Water leaks, and other maintenance needs
•All other health and safety hazards noticed

Stormwater Project Manager

Join Our Team as the Stormwater Project Manager
The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking an experienced and visionary Stormwater Project Manager to manage the Town’s planning, design and construction of public stormwater infrastructure projects and provide technical support to the stormwater program.

What You Wil Do
- Manages the planning, design, permitting, and construction of Town maintenance, rehabilitation, and CIP stormwater infrastructure projects;
- Prepares requests for proposals and qualifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates; recommends consultant selections; participates in project related legal matters; presents projects to various entities, boards, commissions, and citizen groups;
- Prepares engineering analyses, technical reports, data sets, calculations, cost estimates, and other engineering or project related information as directed;
- Manages the Stormwater Utility’s Corrective Maintenance Program;
Inspects and documents contractor work ensuring conformance to construction documents, plans, specifications, and permits; meets with contractors to discuss and make decisions on schedules, design issues, construction methods, materials and change orders;
- Manages on-call contracts for construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of stormwater infrastructure;

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field and five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector (SC DHEC) preferred;
- Certified Post-construction BMP Inspector (SC DHEC) preferred.

Recreation Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain accurate knowledge for:
Resort activities and events
Resort facilities and amenities

Responsible for developing working knowledge of Wherewolf a waiver software program as well as Visual One and Track hospitality software systems.
Assist with ordering supplies for fitness center as well as for holiday events.
Assist with marketing efforts for all aquatic, fitness, and recreational programs.
Development of program ideas and providing creative input towards existing programs or upcoming events.
Assist corporate groups with team building activities on a needed basis.
