Early Childhood Educator (Ages 2–5)The Day School is a Reggio Emilia–inspired preschool for children ages 2–5. Our teachers guide learning through play, observation, and reflection, fostering growth across all developmental domains.

We are a ABC A+ rated school operating year-round. Collaboration, respect, and intentional teaching are at the heart of our community. Educators work in co-teaching teams and with an Atelierista (studio teacher) to design meaningful, child-driven experiences.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with co-teachers and the Atelierista to design and implement Reggio-inspired learning projects
Observe, document, and reflect on children’s interests and discoveries
Partner with children as co-learners and researchers in the classroom
Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent communication
Create documentation panels and online posts that make learning visible
Participate in ongoing professional development, meetings, and conferences
Qualifications
Experience working with young children in a Reggio Emilia–inspired or play-based setting
Understanding of child-centered education and emergent curriculum
Positive and respectful approach to guiding behavior
Collaborative, flexible, and reflective educator who values teamwork
Strong communication, observation, and organizational skills
Education & Certifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification (preferred)
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to complete upon hire)
