Part Time Cosmetology Instructor

Position ResponsibilitiesSupervise students in one of four cosmetology labs as they perform services on mannequins and the public, including hair, skin, and nail treatments.
Instruct and reinforce proper sanitation, disinfection, and safety procedures, including the safe use of electrical equipment required for cosmetology services.
Provide individual guidance and tutoring to students who need additional skill development.
Assist with required data entry for the South Carolina Board of Cosmetology, including tracking students' daily clock hours.
Support classroom instruction and assist with test proctoring as needed.
Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and positive role modeling at all times.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Valid South Carolina Cosmetology Instructor License
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in all areas of cosmetology, including hair, skin, and nail services
Working knowledge of South Carolina Board of Cosmetology rules and regulations
Minimum of two (2) years of full-time salon experience
Dress Code
Scrubs in any color except black
Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes required
Athletic shoes are recommended for comfort and safety
Salary: $23.00 Hourly
