Long-Range Planning Manager

What You Will Do
- Manages and oversees the Town’s Comprehensive Plan and related long range planning documents;
- Develops land use policies, growth management strategies, and planning initiatives that support community goals, housing, transportation, economic vitality, environmental protection, and quality of life;
- Conducts research, data analysis, and trend evaluation related to population growth, land use, infrastructure, housing, and economic conditions;
- Prepares staff reports, ordinances, resolutions, and policy recommendations;
- Coordinates complex planning projects and special studies;
- Oversees fair and equitable work program delegation of regular and special projects and applications;
- Provides professional guidance and technical expertise to elected officials, advisory boards, and senior leadership;
- Facilitates public engagement efforts

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience; or combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver’s License
