Equine Boarding Facility Internship

What You'll Learn

Our goal is to provide a well-rounded educational experience while working alongside experienced professionals. Interns will receive hands-on training in many aspects of equine facility management, including:

· Daily horse care and handling

· Feeding programs and nutrition

· Turnout management

· Stall cleaning and barn organization

· Equine health observation and basic first aid

· Medication administration (when appropriate)

· Farm and facility maintenance

· Hay, feed, and supply management

· Customer service and boarding operations

· General business operations of a successful boarding facility

Qualifications

· Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated (preferred but not required)

· Passion for horses and willingness to learn

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently

· Previous horse experience is helpful but not required—we are happy to teach motivated individuals.
