Sous Chef

Assists the Chef Owner in all aspects of kitchen operations including ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation, managing inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong culinary expertise, leadership skills and a passion for the industry. Responsibilities include:
-Food preparation, cooking and plating
-Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
-Oversee inventory management including monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies and minimizing waste
-Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation and health regulations
-Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
-Step in for the Chef Owner in their absence, leading the kitchen and ensuring smooth operations
-Work with the front of house team to ensure an exemplary experience for the guests
-Ours is an open kitchen so professional and friendly interaction with guests is also expected
