The successful candidate is passionate about pastry arts and has a proven ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely. They are confident in their culinary skills and techniques, careful and detailed about orders, and possess strong organizational and time management skills. They also show excellent planning and preparation abilities.

Minimum qualifications: 
At least four years of proven experience in a pastry position within a fast-paced kitchen
Physically able to meet the demands of working in a kitchen environment
Knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients

Preferred qualifications:
General kitchen management experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
Valid driver’s license

Travel required:
Less than 10%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
