Summary:
The Membership and Education Director is responsible for enhancing the overall member experience through proactive engagement, professional development programming, and data-driven service. This position manages all aspects of membership—from onboarding and retention to compliance and outreach—while also overseeing the planning, administration, and execution of continuing education programs. Working collaboratively with association leadership, instructors, and internal teams, this role ensures that both REALTOR® and affiliate members receive high-quality experiences aligned with their professional needs and the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Engagement & Support
•Manage and process all new member applications; customize onboarding based on membership type.
•Track and ensure compliance with New Member Orientation, Code of Ethics and Fair Housing training requirements; input training completions in M1.
•Conduct office compliance audits with SC Real Estate Commission standards.
•Use CRM to maintain accurate records, document engagement, track member goals and outreach.
•Conduct proactive outreach through phone, email, and in-person visits to foster member relationships.
•Serve as a membership ambassador and identify potential volunteer leaders.
•Support annual membership renewal efforts and maintain unsubscribe records.
•Provide analytics and insights to the CEO and leadership to improve member services.
Affiliate Relations & Communications
•Identify and engage potential affiliate members through marketing and outreach strategies.
•Collaborate with the communications team to promote membership benefits and opportunities.
•Periodically review the website and materials to ensure content is accurate and relevant.
Education Program Management
•Coordinate scheduling, pricing, registration, and logistics for continuing education courses.
•Recruit, onboard, and support instructors to deliver high-quality classes.
•Maintain accurate records of attendance, course offerings, and related fees.
•Ensure full compliance with SC Real Estate Commission education requirements, including course and instructor approvals.
Leadership & Strategic Support
•Play a key role in evaluating and improving the membership experience.
•Collaborate on the development of member-focused programs, events, and initiatives.
•Provide strategic input to help shape the future direction of membership and education efforts.
