Membership Account Executive – Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce

What You’ll Do:

Actively prospect and sell Chamber memberships to non-member businesses through cold calls, networking, referrals, and personal visits.
Execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed budgeted membership revenue goals.
Build and nurture relationships with new, existing, and prospective members, serving as their primary point of contact for Chamber services, benefits, and opportunities.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, updating CRM records (SimpleView CRM experience a plus) weekly to track progress.
Collaborate with the Communications Team to create compelling membership materials and marketing campaigns.
Represent the Chamber with professionalism at events, ribbon cuttings, and networking functions, confidently presenting to both small and large groups.
Provide feedback to the organization on member needs, interests, and concerns while promoting membership benefits and discounts.
Support Chamber events, maintain the membership database, and assist with administrative tasks such as collecting delayed accounts and updating member information.
Embrace innovative tools, including AI, to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 2-5 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Chamber or membership organization experience is a plus.
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; strong organizational and time-management abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfortable with CRM systems.
Personality: High-energy, self-motivated, and adaptable with a sales-driven mindset. A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining optimism and high integrity
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid SC driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and proof of insurance required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster a professional image aligned with the Chamber’s brand.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with SimpleView CRM and a willingness to explore AI tools to optimize performance.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts; Be willing to work evenings and weekends as dictated by the schedule.
