Leisure Sales Coordinator

SUMMARY Assisting the Director of Sales, Leisure and Leisure Sales Manager in servicing our clients and their guests, third party and direct bookings; maintain visibility and integrity of our department throughout the resort promoting mutual cooperation in assuring our clients are delivered the service as promised; developing a trusting and long-term relationship with our top accounts.

Job duties for this position include; although are not limited to:
Respond to travel agent questions and reservation inquiries
Be available to speak to clients on behalf of the Sales Manager in their absence.
Detail daily Consortia reservation reports
Conduct Site Inspections for potential leisure travel agents.
Create estimates and quote room rates for travel agents.
Be able to create personalized itineraries and reservations for clients.
Assist with amenities and welcome note cards.
Make sure that marketing materials are refreshed at the concierge desk.
Update Consortia's and Travel Agent intranet sites and marketing platforms with promotions and packages.
Work with Reservations, Guest Relations, Front Desk, and Conference Services to ensure guest needs are met.
Skills:
Hotel experience is highly recommended
College degree preferred
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Knowledgeable in Opera
Refined phone skills
Well spoken and written
Leisure Sales/Travel Industry experience a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature generally is moderate.
Position requires sitting, walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to exert well-paced mobility.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to move office supplies, set up files and storage.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
Requires manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, phone, filing cabinets, and other office equipment as needed.
Strongly preferred licensed driver able to operate vehicles such as a golf cart.
