Our Free Medical Clinic’s high school internship offers students in grades 10–12 the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by assisting with patient intake and record-keeping, observing licensed providers during visits, and supporting community initiatives over an 8–12-week commitment of 10–15 hours per week, interns will develop professional communication skills, learn primary-care workflows, adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards, and gain direct insight into delivering compassionate, no-cost care to underserved populations, following a brief orientation and interview process.
