Business Development Manager - Coastal Empire

What You’ll DoDrive business development and client relationships from first contact to final billing.
Manage multi-day programs ranging from 10 to 500+ attendees.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local properties, vendors, and venues—with a focus on exclusive and strategic partnerships.
Create custom proposals, lead site visits, and pitch program concepts.
Oversee logistics for arrivals and departures, group tours, adventures, dine-arounds, off-site events, and more.
Collaborate with our internal operations team to ensure smooth, high-quality execution.
Represent Outside Brands at industry events, client functions, and trade shows.
Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure clear and timely client communication.
Help foster a team culture rooted in passion, innovation, and trust.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in business development, group sales, or destination/event management.
Proven ability to win new business and maintain long-term client partnerships.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects with poise.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.) and CRM tools.
Excellent writing skills
Local to Savannah or willing to relocate/travel as needed throughout the Coastal Empire.
