Animal Shelter Adoption Coordinator

General Responsibilities
Responsible for adoptions and follow up of shelter animals in compliance with the adoption policies and procedures via shelter visitors, adoption events, and rescue partner transports.
Is knowledgeable of all adoptable animals within the shelter; coordinates with staff and volunteers to ensuresuccessful matches of animals and adopters.
Verifies any medical needs of adoptable animals with the Medical Team prior to adoption.
Responsible for networking with other rescue groups which share the same philosophies as the HHH Organization.
Plays a major rule with assistance in the event of a hurricane.
Administration
Responds to all phone call, email, and website inquiries in a timely manner.
Keeps all social media outlets and HHH web site updated.
In conjunction with the Executive Director, develop an annual adoption goal.
Maintains all animal records and adoption applications.
Customer Service
Maintains a friendly and congenial attitude, providing a positive experience to the public.
