Essential FunctionsUSDA/CACFP Program Administration
•Work with operations administrator to ensure all aspects of CACFP monthly and annual reporting are completed.
•Responsible to ensure all teachers are trained for CACFP policies and procedures.
•Maintain eligibility and compliance.
•Provide appropriate reports and paperwork to classroom teachers.
•Communicate requirement changes as needed to comply with state and federal organizations and funding sources.
•Work with kitchen staff to ensure nutritional standards are maintained.
•Assist in kitchen operations if needed.
•Ensure necessary food and supplies for infant classrooms.
Front Desk and Administrative
•Serve as first point of contact for all parents, guest and vendors as requested.
oAnswers questions and provides printed/registration information
oEnsures appropriate access to classrooms
•Answers incoming calls, providing information or transfer to serve needs of the caller as necessary.
•Assists parents in the completion of registration information, answering questions and processing necessary student paperwork as asked.
•Serve as responsible person for closing building on nightly basis.
•Maintains a high level of professionalism with staff, Trustees, volunteers and families.
•Maintains family and staff confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Volunteer Liaison
•Engage interested volunteers in the introduction, orientation and implementation process.
•Serves as primary contact for teacher and classroom volunteer while providing ongoing recognition and support.
Education/Child Care
•Provide classroom support as requested.
•Ensures the childcare environment is positive, loving and safe for all children.
•Always exemplifies conduct that promotes a positive impression of TCC, including in any on-line profile or communication.
•Maintain a system of communication and attitude of teamwork.
